Public Relations & Events Committee

Terms and references:

  • To promote the Town Council and its work.
  • To be responsible for the display board and its use at various venues. To develop a programme of information etc to be displayed.
  • To work with other community schemes giving support and assistance where possible. e.g. Christmas Lights Volunteers, Carnival, Muster.
  • To manage the Public Relations Budget.
  • To address the issue of public consultation through consultation exercises.
  • To manage publicity aspects of the council through Town Talk and other publicity mediums.
  • To develop Town Council events.
  • To determine grant funding applications to the Town Council.
